25 YEARS OF EXPORTS FROM BILBAO PORT

The Santullán quarry, is the mining exploitation closest to the international seaport of Bilbao. Just 13 km by toll free highway (A8 / E70).

Thanks to the proximity of the seaport, our quality products, logistics operations and production capacity, Santullan is in an ideal position to compete on the international market and more specifically on the north European market.  In 1991 we started exporting our high purity calcium carbonate and since than export activities have steadily grown. .

All expedition and handling equipment both in the quarry and in the port of Bilbao are designed to obtain high yields of use, prepared to meet demands of any volume.

IMMEDIATE RESPONSE  TO YOURS DEMANDS

Within the port, we have two loading docks prepared for the expedition of our products. With a depth of more than 21 meters, the docks allow deep draft vessels with a capacity exceeding 90.000 tons DWCC (Deadweight Cargo Capacity) to berth and to be loaded.

In addition to this, we have more than 30.000 m² of stowing space for our limestone products on the docks of the seaport, so we can meet any demand or unforeseen order in the shortest time possible.

Thanks to these stockpiles of finished products, both in the quarry and in the port of Bilbao, in combination with our production, logistics and stevedoring capacity, Santullán can provide its international customers an immediate response to their demands.

All our sea exports from the port of Bilbao are certified and chemically analysed by the SGS.
